Joey .38... I think that can be your new pen name for the mafia macabre.:) I understand the feelings you have associated with job core.... We have a similar place here. It would be nice if the economy would pick up and jobs would be a plenty...
I believe 'Joey .38' belongs in perpetuity to Joseph "Bolshevik Bad-Ass" Stalin. An early critic, Leon Trotsky, first used the phrase as a rally cry to predict the age Stalin would die, and when that did not come to pass, used as a reference to the year he would fall from power. Although Trotsky was wrong on all accounts, the phrase "Joey .38" stuck, and Stalin even ordered it be engraved on his casket. Oh, and by the way, had the Job Corp been around in his day, Joseph Stalin would have made a fierce devotee. The next time you hear the words Job Corp, run. As in Away.
